43-05 CRESCENT, NEW YORK CITY, THE UNITED STATES
Client: CENTRAL REALTY
Architect: INOA Architecture
This is a newly designed nine-story mixed-use development conceptualized by INOA Architecture. The 119-foot-tall structure is defined by a sleek, unitized glass curtain wall softened by elegant, rounded corners. The facade is wrapped in continuous exterior bands of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) that form a meandering sculptural trim, rising gracefully at two-story intervals to establish a fluid visual rhythm.
To execute this intricate exterior vision with precision, APG partnered with the facade sub-contractor to develop a digital framework that was essential for spatial coordination, allowing the team to seamlessly align the complex unitized curtain wall system with the primary architectural and structural designs.
Scope of services:
- 3D BIM modeling and visualization
- Model integration and clash coordination
- Interdisciplinary coordination to resolve errors, omissions, and collisions
